I'd like to think that those
who pass on before us stay close by. I know that personally for me that is the case. I knew from the moment that we pinkie
swore that we would be each other's guardian angel that one moment would change me forever. Derek hasn't let
me down. At my lowest times he has reminded me why I'm doing this and lets me know all the time invested is not in vain.
It mattered to him that I gave 100% then and even now he reminds me that their are so many families that need us and not to
give up.
He inspired me to remind
others to give of their time, energy and money to make a difference to so many in need. Until my last dying breath it will
be my promise to him that will inspire precious moments like the ones we shared with so many of you....
Remember to make the most out of every moment!!! I thank
God every day that he gave him to me if only for a short while.
